“Dance Night”
Lussie burps, “Whoops… Sorry, haha that was heavy, I’m so full.”
“This is the great thing about Italian pizza’s, always worth it.” said Ice.
“So Lussie, how’s your mom? Haven’t heard anything from her, is she still…”
“Yeah, she’s still upset, depressed and everything. She’s always crying, like a baby, and it is so annoying.”
“How about you?”
“I’m already done with, it’s been a month already, besides I can’t change the fact that He choose them instead of choosing his pretty lil angel, me and my mom.” said Lussie with teary eyes.
“Oh enough about that, besides Lussie, it’s his lost, not yours and your mom, so smile. Okay?” said Sarah.
“I’m not sad about the fact that he left us, I’m just sad about how my mom felt after what happened, she loves my dad so much, oh so hate it.”
“You know what, Sarah’s right! I’ve got an idea. Let’s just have some fun to night! ” said Selena.
“You know what Selena, that’s a great Idea, why don’t we go out, tonight?” said Ice.
“Seriously Selena, I can’t stay that long. I did promise that I’ll stay until 10pm, so… I told mom and dad that I’ll stay until 11, but that’s only until 11.”
“Oh come ‘on Anna, don’t be such a kill joy, you’ve always been like this, can’t you…just for once? Besides you brought your car, don’t worry we won’t drink that much. Please, Anna…” said Selena.
“Okay, here’s a deal, I’ll call Aunt Alexis to ask permission then I’ll say that I’ll sleep at your place so you won’t go home alone, would that be okay?” said Ice.
“Okay, but just this time.”
“Seriously Anna?” said Selena.
“…”
“Okay… Okay, just this time.” said Ice.
“You know what Anna, I just don’t get it why you are so like that.” said Selena.
“Oh shut up Selena. Let’s just go.” said Lussie.
“Okay… Okay… So…what club?” said Selena.
“I’ve got an idea…so let’s go.”
Good thing, Ice is close to mom, so I already expect her to allow me.
So here we are at “King Cole Bar Lounge” one of the best known club here at
“You girls wait here okay? I’ll look for Paul.”
“Sure!”
“Hey Paul! Over here!”
“Anna darling! It’s so great to see you, it’s been a long time since your last visit here.” said Paul.
So that’s Paul Sandler a great friend of mine, he’s the co-owner of this club and he’s one of the CEO of Atlantic Music Records.
“Yeah, so how is it going? Anyway, I’m pretty sure you know why I’m here.” with a great smiling face.
“I see, oh Anna, you never change. hahaha… Love that Anna, so who’s with you?”
“Just with the girls, only five of us, I really love you Paul, thanks a lot!”
“De nada, anything for you darling, here’s the card, just show this to Albert at the entrance, just like you used to do.”
“Oh, thanks a lot Paul, see you inside, love yah.”
So went to the girls and show the card.
“Let’s go girls!”
I’m so going to love this, and oh…I’m loving what I’m hearing now, dangerous by Cascada, what can I say, Cascada got that great voice. I wish DJ Dwayne’s here, I love that guy, he has that great taste of party music, and he always make us move. I also remember my first time here after our recital, I was with the All Stars and some of our friends, it was so awesome and we all had a blast!
“Hey Anna! Who’s that DJ? He’s cute!” said Selena.
“Sorry, can’t hear you. What?”
“I said who’s that?”
“I have no idea, maybe he’s new here? But he’s good huh.”
“Yeah and he’s cute.”
So sad, Dwayne’s not here but anyway he is good, not bad.
“Wait, I’ll go to Paul okay? You girls enjoy.”
“Sure, but be back, okay?” said Sarah.
“But of course I will, okay, I’ll go ahead.”
“Hey Anna! This is Hugh, my good friend. Hugh this is Anna.”
“Hi there Anna, so nice to meet you.” said Hugh.
“Hi Hugh, so nice… wait for a second.”
“Hey Paul, where are you going? You just can’t leave him here.”
“Why not? My darling, I’ve got to go to Michelle, I’ll be back later don’t worry. Oh by the way… Hey Hugh! She’s single, you too…right?” Paul laughed.
“Paul! What the?!”
“Enjoy the night darling, love you Anna. See you later.”
While my friends are dancing with the others, guess what? I’m here stocked with a guy named Hugh, oh this is perfectly great, sighs.
“So what’s up? I hope you’re not mad with what Paul did.”
“Not really, anyway I’m pretty used to it, so… your…?”
“I’m already a senior, a college student, you?”
“Oh, okay, I’m a sophomore from NYU, I’m taking B.S. in Hotel and Tourism Management.”
“
“So you’re NYU also, that’s great.”
“Oh by the way, I’m Hugh Thompson.”
“Okay, well then I’m Anna Sophie Sumpter.”
So this is a nice conversation with Hugh, he’s a nice guy. I’m not expecting that he’s already a senior I actually though that he was already like around 25, he looks a bit matured, and…yeah he looks great, he also look like the guy from…what movie was that? Oh, the tekken guy, named Jin at the movie. Anyway moving on…
“By the way, Paul told me that you’re a dancer. Is that right?”
“Well, I do dance, but I’m not really that great, how about you? Do you dance?”
“Not that good, maybe a bit, but that awesome friend of mine is. See that Dj.” Paul points at the DJ guy.
“Oh, the new DJ guy?”
“Yeah, that’s Adam, he’s an awesome dude when it comes to street dance.”
“Great, no wonder why he got that great taste in music. Okay, so why don’t you give some sample? Hahaha”
“Oh trust me, that’s a bad idea. Next time you won’t ask for more.”
“Oh c’mon just for once, just for some fun?”
“Okay, here is a deal. If I dance, you’ll dance after me, okay?”
“Okay, you got it.”
So there we go. So that is what he call “Not that good?” Seriously? He’s great, nice one with “So fine” by Sean Paul.
“That’s Hugh! C’mon brother’ is that all you’ve got?” said Adam.
“Oh my! He is really good, oh…I so hate you Hugh, such a liar.”
Okay so this is like a VS? Can I just quit? Okay, this is going to be awesome, great. So this is it, here we go!
“Hey Adam! Give me Sean Paul’s mix “Press it up and Private Party” with the blink.
Here it is Anna, you can do this.
“Oh my God! Is that Anna, hey Ice! Get your ass over here! Go Sister!” said Lussie.
“Oh my! Go Anna! Yeah, that’s our girl.” said Ice.
The crowd went laud, girls cheered for me, while guys cheered for Hugh. So great, this is what I call a real dance night.
“Wow, is that what you call not that good? Seriously?”
“Well, if you’ll compare that to Adam’s skills, his is way better than that.”
“Okay, if you say so.”
“Anna…that was awesome, oh hi there…” said Sarah.
“Girls meet Hugh, he’s our school mate.”
“Hi there Hugh, I’m Ice, I’m Selena, Sarah and I’m Lussie.”
“They’re my best friends.”
“So nice meet you girls, oh by the way see that DJ that’s my friend Adam.”
“So…how did you meet our Anna?” said Selena.
“Paul introduced her to me.”
“Oh I see, hey Anna, I’d love to make friend with Paul. Hahaha” said Selena.
“Anyway Hugh, it was so great to know you, but I’m sorry we have to go.”
“Yeah, we actually have to go.” said Ice.
“Oh, that’s no problem but before you go, maybe I can ask for you digits?”
“Yeah, sure…there you go.”
“Thanks, so see you girls around the camp?”
“Sure. Thanks Hugh.”
“No problem, take care girls!”
So Hugh is a guy who’s fun to be with, I pretty liked him, anyway I better look for Paul before we go ahead.
“Whoops… Sorry… Anna?”
“Blake?”
“So great to see you here, who’s with you?” said Blake.
“Just my girls but we’re about to go now.”
“You girls will go ahead already? Why not just for couple of minutes more, I’m with the guys.”
“I’d love too, but we really have to go, I’m just looking for someone.”
“Hey Anna darling!” said Paul.
“Paul, there you go. Thanks for everything! I and the girls will go now. Oh, here’s your card. Thanks a lot Paul, love you.” kissed Paul on the cheeks and hug him.
“Why in a hurry? Anyway you keep that, it’s already yours. Just text me if you’ll visit again ok?”
“I will! Thanks again Paul, see you around. Take care!”
“You girls too, love ya darling, bye.”
“Oh Blake, just say hi to you guy’s, for me. I really have to go now, you guys take care, bye!”
“Sure, you too. Bye!”
Now home with Ice, I had so much fun tonight. Selena’s idea was totally not bad and my day went great. At least now, there’s no need for us to book or GL just to get a pass, I really love Paul. We’ll it is really great to make new friends. I so love my friend, love this day. So it’s time for us to sleep, night everyone, sleep tight.
