Days of being in love CHAPTER 1e
“Bond with Mr. Fun to be with”
Another Wednesday, another tiring day, just like other days, whenever Ice sleep's over at home, she usually wakes up earlier than me, we'll that's pretty funny I guess so?…and I'm pretty much sure, she's already down stairs eating breakfast with mom and dad.
Off to NYU, we're going to be late this time, after Mom and Ice had their chat almost like an hour, and guess what? It's already 0830 in the morning and our first class starts at 9?! How's that, it usually takes me an 1hr and half drive, yet still I'm pretty much looking forward for this day to be great, please!
"Anna, by the way, a while ago your mom and I talked about our planned vacation.”
“So, how was it? Did she allow me?”, with a smiling face of mine.
“Well at first, of course, she did, but when she asked me where will be celebrating our vacation…”
“I’ll guess, she said no!”
“Well not really, she told me that she’ll think about it first…but at least she didn’t say no,” with a blinked eye.
“How bout dad, haven’t he said a word?”
“Just like yesterdays…haha…”
Usually, my dad doesn’t really talk that much with my kicks, unless it’s me or mom whom he is talking to. Now were here, and it’s already 1030, and were totally late for our class.
“So, what’s the plan? I’m pretty much lazy already to attend the class.”
“Same, why don’t we just go at the field? I’m sure, Mike’s there.”
“As well as Blake!” eye’s rolling.
“Stop it Anna, seriously why do you hate him that much?”
“Never mind, I just don’t like him, that’s it.”
“Well then let’s just go there, okay?”
“Fine.”
So that’s it, well I’m pretty much sure that Austin Austin
“Hey there Anna!”, Austin
“Wow that was cute, anyway I’ll seat there for a while, I’ll just watch and wait for you there.” Ice
“Oh, hi there Ice, so happy see the both of you.”, Austin
“Both of us, I see…hahaha anyway I’ll just go there and leave you guys for a while.” While Ice walks away.
“Okay, I’ll be there.”
“So how are you girls? I’m so glad that you’re here.”
“Were good, but actually, Ice and I were not really supposed to be here, we’ve been late for our 1st class, so instead we just went here.”
“I see, I thought you really did plan it…you know…just to see me, kidding.” Austin
“Wow, that's pretty much of self confidence Mr. Austin, by the way, aren’t you supposed to be there practicing and not here, chatting? Hmmm.”
“Not really, our set’s already done, I mean team. Those are the 2nd team. Team b, trainees or you know rookies.”
“I see, so where are the others?
“Changing clothes we'll be back at the field after a couple of hours.”
“Okay? So…”
“So… would you like to have a snack for a while? By the way, what time is your next class?”
“That would be 2! 1400.”
“That’s cool, so would it be okay if you and Ice spend a lil time with us?”
“That’s fine, so…I’ll just call Ice?”
“Great! I’ll just call the others too.”
So we all went to Red Mango, have some frozen yogurt, specially having my favorite one! Frozen yogurt topped with strawberries, blueberries, walnuts and lastly Hershey’s syrup, I so love it! Anyway I pretty much realized that spending time with them isn’t really a bad idea, it’s actually fun.
“So, Anna, are you having fun?”
“Well if I say no, I’d be a liar, so I’d say totally yes, I’m pretty much having a lil fun, and to think of the idea that I’m not really used to being a companied by guys as majority.”
“Happy to know, at least were all having fun. So does that mean’s… or maybe your not really comfortable having guys around you?”
“Well, not really.”
“Okay, if you say so.”
“Hmmm… By the way Austin
“Sure, it’s fine, you can ask me anything, since you’re already my friend.”
“I’m just wondering, if you’ll have the chance of choosing between these two; to be a girl or a boy, which of those would you choose?”
“I’d choose to be a girl.”
“Okay? A girl, and why is that so?”
“I don’t really know, but for me, I guess it’s easier to be a girl. Like…if you're being court, you’ll just need to think if you like the guy, if yes, just say yes, if not, then just say no, unlike us, we need to court the girl we like, there’s always a need for us to give effort, well, you know what I mean.”
“Well, for me…not really, besides it’s always been hard when it comes to making decision. So for me I’d rather be a guy…”
“How come, why would you rather be a guy?”
“Well, when it comes to break ups, it’s easier for you guy’s to move on, unlike us, most of the time it would take like half of a year, as the minimum?”
“Okay, so how could you think of those stuffs? I thought you’ve never been into any relationships?”
“Well, I learned from other’s experience and mistakes. Besides, even though a person has never been into any relationship, that doesn’t mean that…that person has never been in love and hurt?”
“Okay? So that’s what you think?”
“Well, yeah, pretty much, why? Would you like defend your side, kidding.”
“Why not? Honestly, if you’d ask me, I have to disagree, for me, it’s actually harder than what you think of.”
“How come?”
“Think about it Anna, whenever you girl’s are sad, heartbroken or anything that makes you girls feel down, you always have your girl friends to cry on, share everything you wanted to tell them, and when I say everything, I mean everything, all of it, which make things easier for you girls to loosen up all the stress, depressions and the hurts that you’ve got their. Unlike us guys, it’s hard for us to tell our kicks, it would take us a lot of courage to spill it, it will never be that easy, and I know you know why it is that so, I mean, seriously we guys can’t cry in front of their kicks, coz’ that would be a total bullshit for the others, were known and were meant to be stronger than girls... Now always remember this Anna, it’s harder to be a real man than to be a real woman.”
“Okay, fine… I get it, somehow…you win, hahaha but you know what Austin
“Well then, thank you, I’m touched. Hahaha”
So, I had a great Wednesday coz’ of a new friend of mine, Austin
